Debbie qualified as a solicitor nearly fifteen years ago and has specialised in family law since then. Debbie undertakes all areas of family law including divorce, money cases and private children cases when adults are unable to agree arrangements for their children.  Debbie has been a member of the Children’s panel for nearly ten years.

She has an interest in advising people who have social services involvement with their children, and regularly represents children, parents and family members in complex care proceedings.

Debbie is based at our Heywood office, but is flexible in terms of meeting clients at any of our three offices.

Fiona qualified as a solicitor 25 years ago and has specialised in family law since then. Fiona undertakes all areas of family law including divorce, money cases and private children’s law disputes. Fiona has been a member of the Children Panel for over twelve years and represents both children and parents in many complex care cases.

Fiona is based in the Middleton office but is happy to meet clients at all our offices.

Simon qualified as a solicitor over 20 years ago and has practised family law ever since. Working in Manchester since 2003, he specialises in children law. He regularly represents children and parents involved in complex care cases, as well as private law proceedings.

He is a member of the Children Panel and a committee member of Child Concern.

Sarah qualified as a solicitor over 10 years ago and specialises in children matters.

Sarah initially worked for a local authority but then moved to private practise. Sarah works out of Manchester office where she undertakes both private and public law proceedings including complex child care cases. 

Since joining Temperley Taylor , Sarah has represented parents, family members, children and local authorities. Whenever possible Sarah undertakes her own advocacy in proceedings to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for her clients. 

Sarah represents parents and family members in private children law proceedings where there are disputes concerning living and contact arrangements. 

In line with all our Family law solicitors Sarah is an accredited member of the Law Society's Childrens Panel.

Rachael's caseload includes estate planning and drafting basic and complex wills, administering estates and obtaining Grants of Probate or Letters of Administration,preparing and administering Powers of Attorney through the Office of the Public Guardian and preparing and obtaining Deputyship Orders through the Court of Protection.

Rachael is based at our Middleton office but is happy to meet clients at all of our offices.

Rachael is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners and is a Dementia Champion with the Alzhiemer's society.

Vanessa is a qualified solicitor and head of conveyancing here at Temperley Taylor.

Vanessa leads a team of residential and commercial conveyancers providing clients with expert advice on conveyancing matters.

Vanessa is experienced in dealing with all sale, purchase and re-mortgage matters including leasehold and freeholds, shared ownership, commercial land, new build plots and new leases. Vanessa also advises on legal charges, adverse possession applications, easements, transfers of equity, declarations of trust, lease extensions, deeds of variation, and staircasing.

Vanessa works out of the Heywood and Middleton offices.

Lesley Curran joined the firm from school in 1982. Based in Middleton, she undertakes all forms of residential property transactions and is a highly experienced and well regarded member of our conveyancing team.

Lauren joined the firm in 2015 and works within the conveyancing department managing a case load of residential conveyances. Lauren joined the firm in 2015 and is based in the Middleton office.

Lauren is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and Is working towards becoming a Chartered Legal Executive.

Angela has over 35 years conveyancing experience and is an integral member of the conveyancing department having joined the firm in 1996 . Angela assists Lesley Curran and has good relationships with clients and local estate agents.

Philip Temperley was born and brought up in Middleton and followed his father by joining the firm in 1972, becoming a partner in 1974.  Philip is now a consultant and specialises in probate and wills, including inheritance tax and tax planning.
