At Temperley Taylor, we are proud to support the local community whenever we can. That is why we have donated £500 to 1st Middleton Scouts who are raising money for a minibus.
The group are aiming to raise around £7,000 to fund a 17-seater minibus which will help them transport the Scouts to and from the various activities that they regularly undertake.
L-R: Legal Assistant Lauren Carroll, Office Manager Gillian Carroll, Partner Rachel Early, Scout Leader Jon Gillibrand.
Explorer Scout Leader Jon Gillibrand, said: “The past year has become an uphill struggle for our group – especially for families who do not have the use of a car.
“We do not want the underprivileged members missing out on activities and trips as the whole idea of Scouting is to be accessible to all. That’s why we need this bus.”
The group has been inundated with donations from across the community and will be packing bags at Sainsbury’s and Tesco to help reach their target.
Managing Partner Alan Cryne, said: “We are always happy to help local charities and causes in whatever way we can.
“Both myself and my children have benefitted from Scouting and I believe it is a very worthwhile activity for young people to be involved with.
“I hope that this new minibus serves them well in the future and wish them the best in reaching their target.”
